Jump off Jam Flyer Artwork

Another recent flyer for the Big Score Productions/dreemstyletransit event ‘Jump off Jam’. A night of Hip Hop, Funk and electro. This design started out with a hand drawn sketch of the main B-BOY character. This was then converted to a vector design and colored using my chosen palette for the flyer. Next some hand drawn lettering for the music genres to tie in with the wonderful 50’s retro style fonts, courtesy of fontdiner.com

Last but not least, a little noise was introduced as well as some hand painted textures overlayed to give the image a time weathered look. All very Mr Magoo if I say so myself!
